Abstract

The present article has as premise to unveil the publiCITY present in the languages and visualities proposed by the official website of the Municipal Tourism Coordination of the city of Belém, BELEMTUR, having as a locus of investigation the visual and non visual communication in a digital platform of a website on the world wide web - www. By means of a communicational and imaginary reading of the aforementioned web page, we will use the analysis of the images and texts presented in the graphic design and architecture of the BELEMTUR website as a Place Branding tool for publicizing the tourist attractions of the city of Belém, state of Pará.
