Abstract

This article discusses the evolution and characteristics that have marked the Brazilian web journalism in the last two decades. From a literature review on the stage of web journalism and the concepts of mobility, convergence and hyperlocalism was possible to observe the models that make up this type of journalism produced exclusively for the World Wide Web, beyond the illustration of examples that show the adjustments that public and professionals had to face due to the recurrent use of the potential of
the media. Journalism previously based mainly on image and text, is now
participatory, convergent, mobile and focused on proximity.
