STRANGE TEACHERS IN PARANÁ:

Abstract

The theme of this research was the strike movement of 2015 of the education of Paraná, from the conceptions of the academics of the Pedagogy course of a public University of the north of Paraná. The following problem has occurred: "What are the conceptions of the academics of the Pedagogy course of the face-to-face modality, about the strike that occurred in 2015?" It was intended to investigate what these students, who are potentially education workers, think about the strike and its implications. The study was developed presenting as a theoretical contribution Historical Materialism, founded by Karl Marx, which serves as the basis for numerous scientific analyzes in the Human Sciences. It was an exploratory field study. With regard to the proposed problem, it was considered that the most appropriate technique was the interrogation, for which the following information collection instruments were defined: questionnaire application and semi-structured interviews, the sample involved 18 students. The results of the investigation indicate that, in general, there is a favorable position to the strike, but with some caveats. In addition, academics have demonstrated romantic and Manichaean conceptions of the movement. It is concluded, with the study, that most future education workers are unaware of their own class condition, have incipient knowledge about the subject, and have demonstrated a certain lack of historical memory. However, from the research, it was verified that the strike movement presented itself as an educational factor, since it allowed direct or indirect contact with other issues that extrapolate the curricular subjects of the Course in question.

Especialista em Coordenação Pedagógica, pelo Centro Universitário Metropolitano de Maringá (2018). É integrante do Grupo de Pesquisa sobre Política, Religião e Educação na modernidade e do Grupo de Pesquisa Fundamentos Históricos da Educação. Graduada em Pedagogia pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá-UEM (2017). Atua como Pedagoga na Universidade Estadual de Maringá.
