A Relação Sujeito-Objeto na produção do conhecimento: contribuições a partir do pensamento de Antonio Gramsci

Abstract

This paper discusses how the production of knowledge is approached in the writings of Antonio Gramsci and how his thinking contributes to the understanding of the function of knowledge for subordinates, removing them from indifference and contributing in the production and development of potentialities that strengthen them for struggle for hegemony. Based on a bibliographical research, it presents how the question of knowledge was approached throughout human history and points out how these collaborate for the analysis, understanding and transformation of material reality. Then it deals with the epistemological problematic emphasizing the dialectic relation between subject and object, that the discovery of the truth occurs by the concrete materiality through the theoretical- practice, and yet, that knowledge exerts a social function to be produced from reality, by modifying it. Finally, it presents arguments in defense of the production of knowledge committed to the formation of collective consciousness and to the radical transformation of the present form of sociability .
