Formação de educadores no Museu da Cultura Cearense

Abstract

Its subject is the training of educators at the Museu da Cultura Cearense (MCC), at the Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura, in Fortaleza-CE, and its relationship with the National Policy on Museal Education. It aims to understand the work of training of museum educators carried out by MCC, based on documents, testimonies and practices of educators and former educators of MCC. The sample consisted of four educators who worked at the time of the study and four former educators. It is concluded that there is the adoption of a critical, reflective and dialogical education, the result of learning in Museal Education, and that the MCC proposes activities such as: selection of educators, formative and evaluative meetings, preparation of mediations for exhibitions, meetings with curators and artists exhibitors, accessibility courses and others, as well as the experiences offered by Dragão do Mar and the surrounding area.
