Abstract

The essay discusses FORMA's experience as an educational portal based on the precepts of open, online education and with the central objective of democratizing access to information and disseminating academic knowledge. Training actions are aimed at education professionals, with the aim of building and deepening knowledge of contemporary education linked to digital culture. The portal is organized around the following categories: Education in Diversity, Education and Digital Culture, Education for Accessibility and Education for Sustainability. The conception of FORMA arose from the need to create a digital platform within UAB/Unifesp that would support the provision of professional training courses of an extension nature, from a perspective of quality of online education. The qualitative and participant research methodology was essential to define the portal's mission, the project's visual identity and the general concepts that permeate its purpose. Listening to the narratives of the research subjects, professors and technicians, created the necessary conditions to bring the concept of a multi-teaching team and this was the basis for all the actions that were consolidated in the FORMA - UAB Portal, which was extended to other areas, such as health, to others Campi and the holding of an international event in honor of Paulo Freire. The essay provoked in the researchers a critical analysis of the current situation of UAB at Unifesp and of FORMA.
